The US Senior Open will be kicking off this Thursday, and all four of our Champions Tour professionals will be teeing off in pretty close proximity to each other:
Mark Wiebe: 1:25pm, Hole 1
Scott Simpson: 1:45pm, Hole 1
Larry Mize: 2:05pm, Hole 10
Loren Roberts: 2:05pm, Hole 1
Be sure to keep an eye out for em and throw some cheers their way - and if you happen to be at the tournament, snap some pics of them or anyone else in our gear on the course, we’d love to post some user pics (and of course, a reward most certainly would land your way)!
Equipment Spotlight:
Callaway Diablo Octane
Easily one of the most touted about drivers on the market right now is Callaway’s Diablo Octane. Mainly for the mid - high handicap golfer, this extremely lightweight and durable driver can increase your yard distance with many happy buyers bragging by up to 10-20 yards. Those with a low handicap may want to consider looking elsewhere with the benefits of the long shaft and high club-head speed aren’t as apparent with minimal to no yardage gain.
Todd Berman of golf.about.com sums it up:
Bottom Line: The Callaway Diablo Octane driver is a good-looking and performing driver aimed at golfers looking for extra distance. A new composite creates a lighter head, and coupled with a longer shaft length allows higher swing speed and greater distance for the same effort.
More proof as to why dogs would make good caddies.
Ever get angry and throw your club? The perfect caddie.
